When do I get my reward?
Your reward will begin earning interest in a WealthMeUp High-Yield Savings Account (HYSA) within two business days from your date of purchase. You'll receive a confirmation email from no-reply@wealthmeup.ai and can view it directly in your WealthMeUp account (please check your spam folder). You will be able to redeem or invest your reward after you a) activate the reward and b) Midnighties’ 30 day return period has elapsed.
Do rewards expire?
Yes — your rewards automatically expire if you do not activate your WealthMeUp account within 30 days. If you do activate your account, the reward is yours to keep.
Why invest instead of just cash back?
Cash back ends when you spend it. Investing keeps growing — quietly building your future while you sleep.
What if I return my purchase?
All rewards associated with the return, plus any interest earned on those rewards, will be automatically deducted from your WealthMeUp account balance. No action needed from you.
How do I redeem my money?
Anytime after your reward is awarded — meaning your reward has been activated and the merchant's return period has elapsed. You can then transfer funds from your WealthMeUp Wallet back to your bank. Your rewards are always yours.
How will I know I earned a reward?
You will receive a notification in the Midnighties store with your order confirmation, and also receive an email confirmation from WealthMeUp (no-reply@wealthmeup.ai), confirming your reward amount and WealthMeUp balance.. Please check your spam folder if you don’t receive it.
Are there any hidden fees?
No hidden fees — ever. It is free to earn interest and redeem rewards in your high yield savings account. If you choose to invest funds in an optional investment portfolio, any fees will be clearly shown upfront.
Can I choose how my money grows?
Yes — you can keep your funds in an interest-earning high-yield savings account or invest in ETF’s or curated portfolios that match your risk profile and investing objectives.
What happens if I stop using WealthMeUp?
Your money remains in your high yield savings and/or investing account. You can log in anytime to redeem or manage it.
Is my money safe?
Yes. Savings are FDIC-insured, and investments are SIPC-protected through WealthMeUp’s partner, Betterment.
